Fullness & Fruitfulness

God Glorifying and Biblically Grounded

Jesus told us He is “the way, the truth and the life”. Our congregational life and worship is not primarily about us, but about pointing us toward God. It is always about Him.

Christ-Centred and Confessionally Committed

We are a congregation which is part of the Reformed tradition. Our Elders subscribe to the Westminster Confession of Faith, which clarifies what we believe in many general, and some particular, areas of faith.

Being Presbyterian means we are governed in a particular way and that we are part of a wider church family. Our congregation is led by our Elders, who are part of our local Presbytery, which is itself part of, and under the authority of, the Presbyterian Church in Ireland's General Assembly

Holy Spirt Filled and Prayerfully Guided

We are a congregation committed to the truth of Christ's teaching:
'…apart from me you can do nothing…'.
All that we do as a congregation must be guided by God- through His Word and by His Spirit- and must be underpinned by prayer.

×

Sacrificially Serving and Faithfully Giving

As God's People we have been blessed with many gifts- both Spiritual and material.
These gifts have been given to us so that we might use them to bless God's People and build God's Kingdom.

×

Gospel Focused and Grace Dependent

'Gospel' simply means 'good news'. Our congregational life all revolves around hearing, exploring and enjoying what the life, death and resurrection of Jesus means for sinful people in a broken world.

×

Practically Caring and Lovingly Welcoming

As those who have received so much by grace in the Gospel, we have a responsibility to share our blessings in word and deed.

×

Worship

We want...

...to enjoy

worshipping God together, because that is what we were created to do.

...to see

increased engagement at all our services of worship both in terms of regular attendance and informed participation.

...to see

our Praise Team Leaders and Praise Team Volunteers continually develop in their service.

×

Discipleship and Service

We want...

...to enable

those who come to G.R.P.C. to be effective followers of Christ. This is chiefly done through faithful Bible teaching and prayer.

...to enhance

members' God given gifts and skills in ministry. This means providing individuals with opportunities to use and develop their giftings.

...to grow

to grow in our understanding of the Gospel and how it applies to every aspect of life.

...to equip

every member to fully and fruitfully live out their faith in our contemporary context.

×

Fellowship

We want...

...to encourage

fellowship amongst our members. It's important that those who are part of G.R.P.C. truly feel, and act, like Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

...to be a community

where people are welcomed in to grow closer to God and to His People.

...to encourage

strategic and intentional relationship and community making events and programs.

...to develop

ways of integrating new members into the congregation so that they might enjoy the blessings or membership and fulfil the responsibilities of service.

×

Mission and Evangelism

We want...

...to engage

in relevant mission both locally and globally. That includes, sending, supporting, and going.

...to explore

opportunities to reach the lost both at home and abroad through Gospel partnerships.

..to equip

every member to fully and fruitfully live out their faith in our contemporary context so that they might be empowered to reach out with the Gospel.

×

Pastoral Care

We want...

...to care

for every member of our congregation spiritually and practically so that they might enjoy the fullness of life found in following Jesus.

...to engage

with those connected with the congregation so that we might provide the appropriate care and help them know fullness of life in Jesus.

...to encourage

the establishment of a Pastoral Care Model which provides true and effective pastoral care for our context.

...to maintain

accurate lists of those connected with our congregation so that we might effectively and appropriately provide pastoral care for the good of the people and the glory of God.

×

Youth, Children, and Families

We want...

...to equip

parents and families to grow in their understanding of what it means to follow Jesus and enjoy the fullness of life He offers.

...to encourage

an integrated approach to our congregation's ministry to youth and children so that all might be transformed by encountering Jesus, following Jesus, growing in His likeness, and enjoying the fullness of life He offers.

...to integrate

all those from 0 to 35 into the wider life of the congregation and equip them to become active members who enjoy the blessings and responsibilities of full membership.
