Bowling club

The indoor bowling club is a long-established organisation within our church. We are part of the Sixmilewater & District Indoor Bowling League.
The Club meets on Tuesday from 7.00 – 9.30 p.m., commencing in September and continuing right through to late March or early April.
Club nights are relaxed and informal, consisting of some practice, a few refreshments and quite a bit of chat.
Our membership is multi-generational, ranging from 19 to 70+. We also have a good mix of male and female members, with varying abilities. Some people come along for a bit of exercise and a chat, while more accomplished members enjoy playing for the team in league matches.
Once a year, we play in a charity event for Chest, Heart and Stroke. Always an enjoyable event, we like to help raise funds for this worthy cause.
We love to see new people coming along on club nights, where you will be made very welcome. Don’t worry if you do not have equipment or have never played before. We have spare equipment which you can use while you learn. Also, our more experienced members are always very helpful with a bit of coaching.
Whether you are an experienced bowler or trying it for the first time, please feel free to come along and get involved.

Midweek Worship

Prayer Meeting

Prayer Meetings are a time for Believers to gather in fellowship and pour out their hearts to God in prayer, praise and petition. The focus of these meetings is on the activity of prayer but we also take time considering God’s Word and the proper content of our prayers.

Home Groups
These times are an opportunity for all those connected with Greystone Road Presbyterian Church to gather for fellowship and discipleship. As we gather, we will consider God’s Word and how it applies to daily life, and how we serve God at home, school, work and in the Church. We will explore God’s Word both through teaching and discussion groups and gather in prayer as we seek to grow in faith and love for the glory of God.

Fusion

Fusion is for any ladies from 18-108! We have a varied program, including speakers, fun events, craft, feedback from our organisations and always time for refreshments and a good chat.‘Fusion’ came about as we all have God-given gifts and we seek to collectively grow into a fruitful united body of believers who love each other and our church. We are blessed to have a wide age range of ladies joining us and we look forward to growing together.

All ladies are very welcome.

Thursday Club

Why not join us. Whether you are local, from any denomination, on your own or with friends – everyone is cordially welcomed to the Thursday Club. We are open the second Thursday in the month from 2.30pm-4.00pm

Each day starts with a cup of tea, a treat and a chat with those around you. Then there is a different talk or event to interest you and an epilogue to finish.

We are a self-financing group so donations towards costs can be made as you leave. Just look for Joan’s teapot.
